Action Now Needed to Save Lives
Smithfield’s notorious “Truck Bend” into town claimed another victim during April when a 26-wheel truck/trailer overturned and landed on its side on the pavement next to Biba’s Gallery. The three occupants of the truck were injured.

Presiding Officer at the town hall polling station, Fransie Swarts, seals a ballot in the presence of three party agents.
A total of 9163 people cast their vote in the 29 Mohokare polling stations on Election Day. This represented 79% of the total registered votes.
